Power Eleven Company is planning to use EV bus services in Yangon for the public transportation services. An official from the company said “It is still underway. We need to seek approval for some requirements. The process is very strict so we need to ensure making our proposal more complete”. Moreover, the company is willing to run test runs of EV buses in YBS services to identify the weakness and advantages of this project.

There have been some concerns towards its expensive costs and how it can be cost effective comparing to the existing vehicles in the service.
